The mission of the NGO “Behemoth’s Books” is to amplify the voices of LGBT+ people and other marginalized communities (women, immigrants, people with different native languages), by providing opportunities for them to express themselves in a safe space and present and sell their artistic works. We want to create a community center in Tartu, where we will organize regular events to raise society’s awareness of the issues important to minorities, encourage the participation of community members in the development of the center, and create opportunities for people to spend time in Tartu without spending money.
