Tattoo flash day
We’re having a tattoo flash day on August 25th to raise money for Behemoth’s centre. Come get a cool tattoo and support our cause! πΎ
π Flash day takes place on Friday, August 25th at 12:00β20:00 at the current location of Behemoth’s centre (Kalevi 15). π»π
π¨ NB! Tattoo artists aren’t real cats! π½
The tattoo artists taking part in the flash day are (and the list may grow):
@\sievka1307 (Instagram)
@\ducklinks (Instagram)
@\tildatattuu (Instagram)
@\michelltattoos (Instagram)
@\einbergtriinu (Instagram)
@\seenjaporgand (Instagram)
πΈ This event is also a great opportunity to visit Behemoth’s centre’s current location for the last time, see art made by our volunteers, and spend time with us. We will also talk about the results of our project and explain our plan going forward. πβ¨
βοΈ Our centre is closed starting from the 28th until we find a new location and move in. We have to move to a cheaper space due to the fact that our project funding finishes mid-September. π€―π€―
π€© We collect a little money from each flash as a donation. If you’d like to support our cause without getting a tattoo, you may donate to us directly.

Trans support group
Trans support group 21.08
This summer’s last trans support group takes place on Monday, August 21st at 18:00, this time at Genialistide club. π¨ You will get a great chance to ask Eesti LGBT Association’s lived experience counsellor Eke all your questions about the transitioning process in Estonia. π€©π
Everyone under the trans umbrella is welcome to join, as are those that want to get a better idea of what the transitioning process looks like in Estonia to know how to better support their friends-family-acquaintances. βοΈ We kindly ask any press not to attend the meeting. π₯°π³οΈββ§οΈ
If there is enough interest, we will figure out a way to broadcast the discussion over Zoom. π€ Please let us know if you would like to listen in online! π
πΈ The support group is moderated by volunteers from Behemoth’s centre and MTΓ Tartu LGBT+, and is made possible with the help of Eesti Transinimeste Γhing, Vikerruum and Genialistide Club. Our project (and this event!) is funded by the Active Citizens Fund of the EEA Grants, operated in Estonia by the Open Estonia Foundation in consortium with the Network of Estonian Non-profit Organisations. π

This summer we’re having sketching-painting evenings on Wednesday nights that take place in the fresh air. Bring along your drawing supplies, show up and enjoy the company, summery Tartu and making art!
We’ll meet on August 16th next to Tartu St. Virgin Mary’s Dormition Cathedral. If you can, take along something to sit on as there aren’t many benches in the area.
If you need drawing or painting supplies, drop by Behemoth’s centre (Kalevi 15) on the same date between 16:00β18:00. We ask you to bring supplies with you, as the organizers won’t have enough for everyone on the spot.
In case you can’t attend this event, come to the next on August 23rd at 18:00! The location will be decided on during the previous event and we will let you know as soon as we can, so keep an eye out for that.
